We’re in for another round of frigid temperatures and bitter wind Friday morning, but it gets much better from there.
KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said morning temperatures could get down to minus 13, and a wind chill advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. The wind chill is set to be at minus 30 or lower in the Twin Cities during that time.

Then we start to get some sunshine, and the air will warm up throughout the day. Temperatures could be up to 19 degrees late in the evening in the metro, and highs will reach into the low 20s in the northern part of the state.
The warmup continues into Saturday and Sunday, when we’re expecting highs in the 30s, although there is a chance for freezing drizzle, Dahl said.
