Girls saw possibilities of piloting Saturday in Eden Prairie

Just 6% of pilots are women.
Women in Aviation Stars of the North is aiming to change that by showing girls the possibilites of piloting.
The 7th annual Girls in Aviation Day at Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie featured everything from Delta planes to a military Black Hawk helicopter Saturday.
"What I see is that with these young girls they don’t have that, ‘oh, I can’t do that.’ They just go ‘oh, this is amazing, I want to do that," Stephanie Goetz, Vice President of Stars of the North and the event’s organizer, said.
"You do know that you can achieve this," Goetz told girls.
