Retired Isanti County K9 dies unexpectedly

Authorities in Isanti County are mourning the unexpected passing of one of their retired K9s.
The Isanti County Sheriff's Office said Kojak died Wednesday night due to a sudden medical emergency.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of retired K9 Kojak.

Kojak passed away last night due to a sudden and unforeseen medical emergency.

The department also thanked the community for all of the support it gave Kojak over the years.
Kojak retired this past November after serving for seven years, according to a county board agenda.
