An annual celebration of all things Irish kicks off Friday with people able to experience a wide range of Celtic culture at Minnesota’s Irish Fair.
The 41st Irish Fair will take place on St. Paul’s Harriet Island beginning Friday, Aug. 13 through Sunday, Aug. 15.
According to the release, the daily adult admission for the festival is $20. The 3-day week passes will be $45 at the gate. The weekend passes will be available for only $35 and daily passes for $15; children 12 and under will get in free.
"We are committed to delivering a unique, memorable, family-friendly weekend for a very affordable price," said Tom Whelan, IFM’s board chair. "Several new features will be unveiled. Our guests can expect a different-looking Fair, one that offers an immersive Irish cultural experience and an energetic Grafton Street vibe. And a new partnership with Guinness and the Diageo family of beverages will offer several different beers, ale and seltzer."
For those Fair fans who are unable to join attendees on Harriet Island, a virtual Fair will also be offered.
