Twins option Larnach to St. Paul, recall Gordon

The Minnesota Twins have optioned outfielder Trevor Larnach to Triple-A St. Paul and recalled infielder/outfielder Nick Gordon.
Gordon was optioned to St. Paul on Aug. 5 and, in the 10 games since, has gone 9-for-43 with two home runs, five RBI, six runs and two walks. This is his fourth stint with the Twins this season.
Larnach has played in 79 games for the Twins this season and is hitting .223 with 12 doubles, seven home runs, 28 RBI, 31 walks and a .322 on-base percentage.
