Twins reinstate Sanó, place Maeda on injured list

Monday, the Minnesota Twins reinstated infielder Miguel Sanó from the Paternity List and added another pitcher to the injured list.
Right-handed pitcher Kenta Maeda was added to the 10-day Injured List due to right forearm tightness after leaving Saturday’s game against the Yankees with injury. This season, Maeda is 6-5 with a 4.66 ERA and 113 strikeouts over 106.1 innings.
Sanó has hit .217 with 21 home runs, 18 doubles, 53 RBI, a .308 on-base percentage and a .765 OPS in 98 games this season.
