Weggemann sat down with KSTP Sports anchor Chris Long before heading to Tokyo. They spoke about her desire to be back on the podium, what swimming means to her, how she can be a role model for younger women, what getting a medal would mean to her, how hard she has worked to get back to the Paralympics and how many more Paralympics she thinks she can compete in.
The Opening Ceremonies were held Tuesday in Tokyo.
