Maplewood shooting leaves 1 dead

Just before 9 p.m. Saturday, Maplewood and St. Paul Police found a man dead at the intersection of Larpenteur Ave. East and Howard St. North.
According to Maplewood Police, the male had gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting is under investigation by Maplewood Police with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, according to Maplewood police.
