Trailer reported stolen from St. Louis Park church, police investigating

The St. Louis Park Police Department is investigating after a trailer was reported stolen recently from a church.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a trailer theft at Union Congregational Church on Saturday at about 2:08 p.m. The owner reported the trailer was last seen at about 1 p.m. on Aug. 18.

The trailer is reportedly used to store items the church’s congregation collects and donates to help those in financial distress. Contents placed inside the trailer included school backpacks along with several bins of donated adult and youth clothing. The trailer itself is described to be a 6-foot-by-12-foot, Stealth brand, with a V-shaped front and a ramp door, partial diamond-plate exterior, upgraded mag wheels/rims and interior mounted storage rails to secure loaded items.

The theft is currently under investigation. Anyone who has information about this incident is asked to call 952-924-2618.
