Man found dead after fire in Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis
A man was found dead in a residence that was on fire Thursday afternoon.
According to a release from the Minneapolis Fire Department, at around 3:20 p.m. fire crews responded to a residential structure fire on the 2500 block of 24th Street East.
When crews arrived they found a fire showing from the first floor. Crews found a man on the second floor and brought him out of the rear entrance where he was evaluated by paramedics for minor injuries.
A second man was found on the first floor "in the fire room of content," he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
