Community of Buffalo starts the healing process after Tuesday’s tragedy

Buffalo is a tight-knit community and the shooting has hit them hard.

Many living there are now showing their support for the victims.

On Thursday at 7 p.m., Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo will hold a prayer service, a holy hour for healing and safety.

"So people can come together, have prayer and really have that chance to be with God because, in a situation like this, we all need to have God and have Him help us through it," Father Nathaniel Meyers said.

Many on Wednesday bought flowers at Buffalo Floral for the victims and their families impacted by the shooting.

"I always believe flowers are the language of love and I believe they say I’m thinking of you," owner Patty SpeckeI said. "I know they say I love you and they always say I care."
