Authorities identify man killed in Polk County, Wisconsin crash
Authorities have identified the man who was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Polk County, Wisconsin last week.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as 51-year-old Dale Peach.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were called just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on the report of a crash on Highway 35.
Investigators learned that a Ford Escape and Ford Explorer had collided head-on.
According to the sheriff’s office, Peach, the driver of the Ford Escape had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was taken to Osceola Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The occupants of the other vehicle suffered injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
