COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 39 new deaths, 681 new cases

Wisconsin health officials on Tuesday announced 39 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,094 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 102 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 25,021.
A total of 551,050 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 681 new cases reported Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, DHS reports that more than 3.09 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 4.1%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 986,275 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 793,474 had been administered as of Tuesday, and 174,215 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
