Abandoned home caught fire in Minneapolis

Minneapolis Fire Department responded to an abandoned home on fire at 5:30 on Sunday evening.

The home, located at 2029 Willow Ave. N. had fire coming from the back side of the house, according to the Minneapolis Fire Department.

Fire crews forced entry by cutting through the boarded-up door to extinguish the fire inside the home.

There were no injures according to the fire department.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Minneapolis Fire Department.
