Finch provides Timberwolves summer league preview

Wolves coach Chris Finch met with reporters before the team departed for Las Vegas. The Wolves’ summer league opener is Monday at 6 p.m. Central vs. San Antonio.

The summer league roster is headlined by Jaden McDaniels and Jaylen Nowell. The team will be coached by Timberwolves assistant coach Joseph Blair. Two-way signees McKinley Wright and Nathan Knight will also see lots of playing time.

All teams will play five games from Aug. 8-17, with the two teams with the best records playing in the Summer League championship game. This year will be Minnesota’s 14th appearance at the Las Vegas Summer League.

Minnesota will play San Antonio at 6 p.m. Monday night, Chicago at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Milwaukee at 3 p.m. on Friday, and Philadelphia at 6 p.m. on Sunday Aug. 15.
