There’s a growing controversy in Roberts, Wisconsin.

Many in the town have voiced their opposition to a proposed 1 million-square-foot warehouse.

It’s called Project Mallard, and the warehouse would be built near the Roberts exit off Interstate 94.

Some say the project will create traffic troubles but Roberts village officials say it will create around 800 jobs.

The village hasn’t said what company wants to build the warehouse.

"It’s going to be a matter of how they sell it. That’s the key: How do they sell it to the community?" neighbor Brian Wagner said.

If the project is approved later this month, they could break ground in the fall and the building would open in the late summer of next year.
