MyPillow Twitter account suspended

The Twitter account belonging to the company MyPillow, which is owned by Mike Lindell, has been suspended.

The Chaska-based company’s suspension from the social media site comes a week after Lindell’s account was suspended and later banned.

Twitter decided to ban Lindell, who founded the bedding and pillow company, due to "repeated violations" of its civic integrity policy, a spokesperson said in a statement. The policy was implemented last September and is targeted at fighting disinformation.

Lindell, a Trump supporter, has continued to insist that the presidential election was rigged against the former president, even after President Biden’s administration has begun.

Major retailers such as Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s have said that they would stop carrying My Pillow’s products, Lindell previously said.
