COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 14 new deaths, 1,177 new cases
Wednesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 14 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 5,951 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 94 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 24,554.
A total of 545,437 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 1,177 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 3.06 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 19.9%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 986,275 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 613,247 had been administered as of Wednesday, and 117,367 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
