Shakopee boys basketball routs Lakeville South, 78-51

The 4th ranked Shakopee Sabres were too much for Lakeville South to handle, as they coasted to a 78-51 win on Wednesday night. KSTP Sports was there.

Shakopee went on an 11-0 run to start the game and never trailed.

Shakopee is young, having only two seniors, but share the ball nicely. Five players for Shakopee scored in double figures. Lakeville South came within seven points in the first half, but that’s as close as they got.

Yonis Mohamud and Sam West both had 15 points for the Sabres. Reid Patterson led all scorers with 19 points for Lakeville South.

Shakopee will host Farmington, while Lakeville South will travel to Eastview on Friday night.
