Roseville council votes to restrict sales of flavored tobacco in the city
On Monday night, the Roseville City Council passed an ordinance that restricts the sale of flavored tobacco in the city.
According to a release from the Association for Nonsmokers-Minnesota, the council passed the ordinance unanimously.
Edina bans sale of flavored tobacco products, including menthol
Under the new ordinance, the sale of flavored tobacco products is restricted to adult-only tobacco stores. Menthol tobacco products are included in the ordinance.
Roseville is the 21st city in the state to restrict the sale of flavored tobacco. It is also the 16th city to restrict the sale of menthol tobacco products.
