Dog dies in St. Paul house fire, firefighting crews rotate due to bitter cold

A dog died in a St. Paul house fire early Tuesday morning.

The St. Paul Fire Department was called at about 12:30 a.m. to the fire at a home in the area of Jefferson Avenue West and South Clifton Street.

Firefighters said no one else was hurt.

Due to the cold, the department rotated crews to battle the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
