UPDATE: Crash on westbound I-94 at I-35E cleared, slight delays continue

A crash on westbound Interstate 94 created significant delays Tuesday morning.
KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said the crash happened on the interstate near Interstate 35E.
Smith said backups were initially extending into downtown St. Paul as a result of the crash.
At about 8:34 a.m., MnDOT traffic cameras showed the crash had cleared and lanes were reopened.

Smith said drivers should plan for their trips to take extra time Tuesday morning due to slow traffic throughout the metro.
