Twins’ Cruz named to 7th MLB All-Star Game

Minnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz was named to his seventh MLB All-Star Game on Sunday.
Cruz leads the Twins with a .306 batting average, 18 home runs, 45 RBI and a 381 on-base-percentage. He was the only Twins player named to the All-Star Game which will be played on July 13 at Coors Field in Colorado.
Cruz, who celebrated his 41st birthday on Thursday, was an All-Star with Texas in 2009 and 2013, 2014 with Baltimore and 2015, 2017 and 2018 with the Seattle Mariners.
