Pitino discussed how the team fared defensively in the second half against the Wisconsin Badgers, how the team can overcome a game where point guard Marcus Carr is not hitting a lot of shots, guard Gabe Kalscheur’s shooting, and what he sees in Ohio State.
Gopher forward Brandon Johnson spoke about the leadership of Carr, how the rest of the team can step up when Carr is cold from the floor, and what can expect from the Buckeyes.
Gopher forward Eric Curry talked about the defense against the Badgers, how tough it is to win a Big Ten road game, how loaded the Big Ten is with players at the forward and center positions, and facing Ohio State.
Minnesota faces the Buckeyes on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm inside of Williams Arena.
