New speed limit signs are going up on White Bear Lake.

The 35 mph signs are being posted at marinas and boat launches.

The White Bear Lake Conservation District created the signs after receiving several complaints about speeding on the lake.

The signs not only post the speed limit, but tell people to lower music and watch their wake.

"It’s a good idea," boater Dave Jansen said. "People need to know there’s a limit."

The new signs will be going up around White Bear Lake over the next month.
