The Wild re-signed forward Nick Bjugstad to a one-year, $900,000 contract earlier this month.
Bjugstad, a Blaine high school graduate and former University of Minnesota Golden Gopher, finished the 2020-21 season with six goals, 11 assists, and a career-best +7 rating in 44 games. He became the 26th Minnesota-born NHL player to reach 100 goals in a career when he scored against the Los Angeles Kings on February 26.
The Wild originally acquired Bjugstad in a trade with Pittsburgh in 2020.
