"The Crows" play in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) – the fourth-tier of American soccer. The Regional Semifinal win improves their record this season to 12-1.

Head coach Matt vanBenschoten has been with the team since 2017. He took over the leadership role in 2018 and proceeded to win the North Conference title and the club’s first playoff game. He was also named the Midwest Conference coach of the year.

The club has had two alumni selected in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft. Advancement to higher levels of pro soccer is one of the franchise’s primary goals. The club website explains they’re similar to what the St. Paul Saints baseball team was in their independent days, before they hooked on as an affiliate of the Minnesota Twins.

Aidan O’Driscoll is a center-mid for Minneapolis City. He spoke about how much the Regional Final would mean to the club and what he thought about his goal against Carpathia.

The Crows host Cleveland SC on Sunday at 1:30 pm at Edor Nelson Field for the Regional Final. The winner advances to the NPSL National Semifinals.
