Minnesota Twins plan to host virtual TwinsFest for 2021
The Minnesota Twins announced Thursday they will host a virtual TwinsFest at the end of January.
According to a release from the Twins, the event, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will allow fans to interact safely with their favorite Twins players, coaches and alumni.
The celebration will feature Q&A sessions, skills demonstrations and more. The event will be free and will take place on the club’s social media platforms.
The release says that TwinsFest is one of the largest fundraisers for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund and that there will be opportunities to support the fund available throughout the event.
Some events that will take place during ‘TwinsFest’ include:
- A "Sandlot" table read with players and Twins personnel
- Hitting 101 with Ryan Jeffers and Justin Morneau
- Shop Talk with Torii Hunter, Joe Mauer and Kirk Cousins
- A Gardy Party with Ron and Toby
