Hopkins holds on to beat Edina 76-72

Hopkins got all they could handle against Edina, but held on to win 76-72 on Friday night.
Both teams came into the game at 3-1. Hopkins leaned on their seniors and used an up-tempo style to take a 35-24 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Hopkins was lead by Tristan Lee who had a team-high 22 points, while teammate Jaelen Treml chipped in with 15 points.
Edina never went away. The Hornets cut the deficit to six points twice in the second half and then with under two minutes remaining in the game made it a three-point game.
Tristan Lee iced the game at the free-throw line for the Royals. Edina’s Gabe Jobe had a game-high 23 points, Sammy Presthus had 19 points, while Marcus Crawford added 18 points.
