Twins pitcher Tyler Duffey signed to 1-year deal
Minnesota Twins pitcher Tyler Duffey has been signed to a one-year deal for 2021, sources confirm to KSTP Sports.
Duffey, who saw his pro debut in 2015 with the team, posted a career-best 1.88 ERA in 24 innings pitched this past season.
The right-handed reliever’s deal is for $2.2 million.

Additionally, a source confirms that catcher Mitch Garver will have a tendered contract through a club option for 2021. The exact money will be worked out at a later date. Reliever Caleb Thielbar has also signed for a one-year, $700,000 contract to return with the team.
The other Twins who are arbitration-eligible entering Wednesday’s 7 p.m. tender deadline: P Jose Berrios, OF Byron Buxton, P Taylor Rogers, P Matt Wisler, and OF Eddie Rosario. Of the five, only Rosario is expected to be non-tendered.
