Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley talked with reporters on Wednesday, the first time he has done so since re-signing and fighting legal issues.
Beasley is charged with using a rifle to threaten a family who was house hunting in his Plymouth neighborhood. He re-signed with the Wolves in November on a 3-year deal worth around $44 million, with a team option worth over $15 million in the fourth year.

Beasley was charged in October in Hennepin County District Court with threats of violence and drug possession. His wife, Montana Yao, was charged with a felony drug count.
Beasley’s next court hearing is set for December 18. Regardless of how the legal proceedings shake out, he can be suspended by the NBA for some games.
