Timberwolves’ new alternate uniform pays homage to North Star State

The Timberwolves unveiled their new City Edition uniform for the 2020-21 season, which pays tribute to the North Star State.

The sleek black ensemble is trimmed in neon green with silver stars cascading down the side of the jersey and shorts. The front reads "MINN" in white letters with a single neon green star just above. A neon green silhouette of Minnesota dotted with a single black star adorns the waistband.

A reveal video posted to social media highlights the night sky theme of the uniform set and ties in the North Star’s importance for navigators and explorers with imagery of an astrolabe and a sextant.
