Remaining 20 games of Gophers men’s hockey schedule released

The remaining 20 games of the Gophers men’s hockey team’s regular-season schedule was released Friday.

Minnesota won its first eight games of the season for the first time since the 1987-88 season, earning a No. 1 ranking in both national polls for the first time since the 2014-15 season.

The team’s remaining schedule is:

  • Sunday, Jan. 3: Minnesota vs. Arizona State
  • Monday, Jan. 4: Minnesota vs. Arizona State
  • Saturday, Jan. 9: Minnesota at Wisconsin
  • Sunday, Jan. 10: Minnesota at Wisconsin
  • Friday, Jan. 15: Minnesota vs. Notre Dame
  • Saturday, Jan. 16: Minnesota vs. Notre Dame
  • Thursday, Jan. 21: Minnesota vs. Arizona State
  • Friday, Jan. 22: Minnesota vs. Arizona State
  • Friday, Jan. 29: Minnesota at Ohio State
  • Saturday, Jan. 30: Minnesota at Ohio State
  • Friday, Feb. 5: Minnesota vs. Wisconsin
  • Saturday, Feb. 6: Minnesota vs. Wisconsin
  • Friday, Feb. 12: Minnesota at Notre Dame
  • Saturday, Feb. 13: Minnesota at Notre Dame
  • Friday, Feb. 19: Minnesota vs. Michigan State
  • Saturday, Feb. 20: Minnesota vs. Michigan State
  • Friday, Feb. 26: Minnesota at Penn State
  • Saturday, Feb. 27: Minnesota at Penn State

The Maroon & Gold have eight road games in the remaining schedule compared to 12 home games.

Game times and television designations will be announced at a later date. The conference will also release more details on the conference tournament at a later time.

Teams will follow the same medical protocols that were developed by the Big Ten Return to Competition Task Force and announced in September. The university said Arizona State University, the one non-conference opponent on the schedule, has agreed to the same testing protocols as the Big Ten.
