Vikings RB Dalvin Cook named NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook snagged NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his bombastic performance in Sunday’s game at Green Bay.
In the Vikings’ 28-22 win over the Packers, Cook busted out for 30 carries, 226 total scrimmage yards and four total touchdowns — all career highs for the fourth-year All-Pro. He became the third Vikings player to score four touchdowns in a game and the first to do it in more than 40 years; running back Chuck Foreman and wide receiver Ahmad Rashad accomplished the feat in 1975 and 1979, respectively.
Cook ranks first among NFL running backs with 10 touchdowns on the season, despite missing Week 7 due to injury. He’s also second in total rushing yards (652) and rushing yards per game (108.7).
This is Cook’s third time being named Offensive Player of the Week in as many years.
