The game was scoreless after one quarter, but Rogers changed that early in the second with a field goal. The Royals were up 3-0 with just under nine minutes left in the second quarter.

Andover would answer back. Junior quarterback Connor Develice hit senior wide receiver Aghogho Eyafe for a Huskie touchdown to make it 7-3 in the second quarter. But, Rogers had an answer for themselves. Senior quarterback Zac Evenson scrambled for a long touchdown run to make it a 10-7 game with just 1:35 left in the first half.

However, Andover would take advantage of the remaining time in the half. Eyafe caught a short pass, broke some tackles and set up Andover for great field position. On fourth down, with seven seconds left in the half, Develice found sophomore wide receiver Sam Musungu in the end zone for an Andover touchdown for the last play of the half. 14-10 Andover at halftime.

In the third quarter, Develice threw another touchdown pass, this time to senior tight end Elijah Alexander, to make it a 21-10 game with 5:57 left in the third quarter.

Then, early in the fourth quarter, junior running back Caden Wheeler scored for the Huskies to make it 27-10 with just over 10 minutes left in the game.

Rogers would add a late score, but Huskies would win 27-17.
