Rookies Ezra Cleveland and Cameron Dantzler have both seen action this season for the Minnesota Vikings. With the team at 1-5 heading into the bye week, there’s a likelihood both players will continue to see playing time to get experience.
" It was nice to get back on the field, compete and do my best," said guard/tackle Cleveland. who made his first NFL start on Sunday in the loss vs. Atlanta.

Dantzler, a starting cornerback, has seen the field quite a bit this season. It’s been a trial by fire for him with the departure of cornerbacks Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes leaving for Cincinnati and Xaiver Rhodes for Indianapolis. Dantzler knows the way to get better is to simply to get experience on the field.
"I need to be tighter on my coverage and learn from that experience. I’m covering bigger and better receivers in the league and I need to prepare for what they’re doing to get better," said Dantzler.
The Vikings’ defense is currently ranked 31st out of 32 teams. They’ll face the Packers on November 1 in Green Bay, a stiff test as the Packers’ offense is ranked 7th.
