Minnesota United confirms player tests positive for COVID-19

Minnesota United on Wednesday confirmed that one of its players tested positive for COVID-19.

The player, who wasn’t identified, will continue to self-isolate until medically cleared, the club said. All other first-team players and staff have returned consecutive negative tests.

The organization said Wednesday night’s match against the Colorado Rapids at Allianz Field will be played as scheduled.
