Minneapolis police asking for help in identifying suspect in attempted kidnappings

The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for help in identifying an attempted kidnapping suspect.
In a press conference Thursday, Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder said that an attempted kidnapping of a woman sitting in her car in a Dinkytown neighborhood occurred on Tuesday.
U of M public safety warns of attempted kidnapping
Elder says that the woman fought off the attacker who then fled.
The attacker is described as a "30 to 40-year-old white male wearing a hoodie and dark pants with a possible beard."
Police believe that this suspect is responsible for similar assaults in the city since 2018.
