Before Maple Grove native Brad Davison headed back to Wisconsin for workouts with teammates and the Badgers’ coaching staff, we caught up with him.

Last season, Davison started all 34 games for the Badgers and finished third on the team in scoring (10.5 ppg), while also averaging 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. He has started 93 of 97 games in his three years in Madison.

We talked to Davison before a workout in St. Louis Park with Gophers guard Gabe Kalscheur former Park Center HS star and current overseas pro Quinton Hooker, and former Chaska HS star and current overseas pro Courtney Douglass.

Davison touched on his 1-game suspension last year for hitting an Iowa player in the groin area and his polarizing aura, the run to the 1-seed in the Big Ten Tournament in March, the solid team that they have returning, and more.
