Men’s gymnastics was one of three sports the University is planning to cut, along with men’s tennis and men’s track and field (indoor and outdoor).

The move comes amid budget constraints brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as challenges Gopher Athletics is having meeting Title IX-mandated gender equity.
