Romo suspended for jawing match with Lindor

Major League Baseball suspended Minnesota Twins reliever Sergio Romo for one game and he was fined an undisclosed amount for "inappropriate actions" in the Twins 3-1 win over the Cleveland Indians Friday night at Target Field.
Romo and Cleveland shortstop Francisco Lindor got into a shouting match after Romo got Lindor to pop-out in the eighth inning of Friday’s game. Both players had to be separated as both benches cleared, but no punches were thrown.
"It’s just a couple of players who continually interact with each other when they probably shouldn’t," Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said after the game. "And I think it would probably be better if they didn’t."
Romo will not appeal the suspension and will serve it Saturday night. Lindor was fined an undisclosed amount for his part in the incident.
