The Minnesota Gophers season is a month away from playing an eight-game schedule. The big question: Will WR Rashod Bateman be able to play?
Coach P.J. Fleck talked about that on Tuesday, along with a few other topics.

Since the decision for Big Ten football to start back up, Bateman has been practicing with the Gophers. Now, he and Fleck play the waiting game to see if he’s approved after signing with an agent.
"There’s going to be a lot of other things we have to do moving forward for him to be cleared, and that’s down the road a little bit. He’s doing everything he can to handle today, and that’s all we told him to focus on," said Fleck.
Bateman is a projected first round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Gophers are slated to play Michigan on October 24th at TCF Bank Stadium in the opening game. Currently, the games would played with no fans in attendance.
