UPDATE: Building fire near Minneapolis mushroom growing facility fully extinguished

A fire that broke out at a building next to a mushroom growing facility in Minneapolis Friday morning is now fully extinguished.
The fire occurred at a commerical building along the 3700 block of Washington Avenue North, between Interstate 94 and the Mississippi River.
According to an update mid-Friday morning, Minneapolis firefighters reported no one was hurt as a result of the fire.
Firefighters added the crew was able to control the fire and extinguish it quickly.
Update on the Washburn structure fire. Fire was extinguished and placed under control relatively quickly. No victims or injuries reported. Cause of the fire is under investigation.

The department reported firefighters were working through pallets and debris to get to the source of the fire Friday morning.
Incident Command is reporting that the involved structure is next to the mushroom production site. Mushroom production site is not involved. Crews continue to put water on the fire. Likely to be on scene for several more hours.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The area is also the same site where plans for the Upper Harbor Terminal are taking place.
