Other players that were there include former Gopher Blake Cashman (New York Jets), former Gopher Tyler Johnson (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), and former Saint John’s quarterback Jackson Erdmann.
After the workout, Sharpe and Mattison spoke to KSTP Sports.
Mattison spoke about how the workouts are helping him, what he did in the offseason, how he stayed in shape during the pandemic, what he learned his first year in the NFL, and how excited he is to get back with the Vikings.
Sharpe spoke about his workout, his decision to sign with the Vikings and leave the Tennessee Titans, what he is learning from Adam Thielen, and how much he is looking forward to training camp.
The players are still awaiting official word for when camp will open, and if it will at all. There is a loose starting date scheduled for July 28.
