Wild hold intrasquad scrimmage

The Minnesota Wild held an intrasquad scrimmage Saturday at TRIA Rink in downtown St. Paul.

The game featured Team Green vs. Team White. Nico Sturm started the scoring off when he scored to make it 1-0 Team White with 15:09 left in the first period. But, Kyle Rau tipped in a Luke Johnson shot to tie it at 1-1 with 8:45 left in the first. Later, Jared Spurgeon scored for Team Green to make it a 2-1 game with 7:45 left in the first period.
In the second, Jordan Greenway scored for Team Green to make it 3-1 with 10:10 in the second period.
In the third, Jonas Brodin scored twice to make it a 3-3 game, eventually sending the scrimmage to overtime.

In overtime, Zach Parise scored to cap off Team White’s comeback and win 4-3.
