Like father, like son, except with a twist for class of 2022 star athlete Chase Carter

Randy Carter was a solid basketball player for the Gophers in the early 90s, and now his son is following in his footsteps.
But Chase Carter has bragging rights on dad, able to stake a claim on having big-time college football offers too.
Chase, who’s in the class of 2022 at Minnehaha Academy, is an excellent defensive end for the SMB (S.P.A.-Minnehaha Acad.-Blake co-op football team). He’s so talented that Nebraska and Iowa State have offered him a scholarship, and many other schools are showing interest.

Then, on the basketball court, at 6-feet-6-inches, Chase can do many things. His talent has the Gophers, Florida, Vanderbilt and Hampton desiring him.
He’s among a stacked 2022 Minnesota high school basketball class that includes teammate Prince Aligbe, Wayzata forward Cam Heide, Cretin D-H guard Tre Holloman, Caledonia guard Eli King, East Ridge guard Kendall Blue, Hopkins forward Elvis NNaji, and others.
