2 Crown College students arrested, charged in alleged sexual assault of another student

Two people were arrested after a reported sexual assault last week in Carver County.

The Carver County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to Crown College on Wednesday to investigate a reported assault that occurred Feb. 14.

There, deputies met with the victim, a 19-year-old male student at the college, who reported two other male students he knew came to his home. The suspects then overpowered him, removed some of his clothing and attempted to sexually assault him before he was able to eventually free himself.

The sheriff's office said deputies interviewed a witness and one of the suspects, and the suspect described the incident as a prank gone wrong.

Authorities then arrested Harvey Michael Holcombe, 21, and Michael Fletcher Brewster, 23. They've since been charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct by the Carver County Attorney's Office, the sheriff's office said.
