Q&A: Stillwater’s Amber Scalia on committing to St. Thomas women’s hoops

Class of 2022 guard Amber Scalia, the younger sister of Gophers guard Sara Scalia, committed recently to play for the St. Thomas women’s basketball team.

We caught up with Amber, who’s also currently busy playing for the state tourney bound Stillwater softball team.

Amber will join the Tommies after their first D-1 season, moving up from D-III. She helped lead the Ponies basketball team to the state tournament in April.
