35W Bridge lighting to celebrate Pride month

Thursday night, the Interstate 35W bridge will be lit to celebrate Pride month.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation said the bridge will be lit in rainbow colors.

Pride month marks the uprising at the Stonewall Inn in June 1969 that sparked a liberation movement, while noting all that the LGBTQ+ community has endured while fighting for full equality.
