Q&A: 2022 WR Ike White on committing to Gophers

The Gophers football program has secured multiple verbal commitments this week, including from Baltimore-based WR Ike White.

We caught up with White, who’s from Philadelphia, but attends St. Frances Academy in Baltimore.

White is 5-foot-11 and weighs 185 pounds. He mentioned that the Gophers have made comparisons between him and recent Baltimore Ravens 1st round pick and ex-Gopher Rashod Bateman.

White also had offers from Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Boston College, and other Power-5 programs.

White was named a top performer at the Baltimore Under Armour All-American camp.
